Achieving Your Dreams

Dreams without goals are just dreams, and ultimately they fuel disappointment.
On the road to achieving your dreams you must apply discipline, but more importantly consistency because,

without commitment you can’t start, and

without consistency, you’ll never finish.

Plan: Every day you have to have a plan. We don’t plan to fail, we fail to plan. All the work you need to do to achieve your goal should be broken down into tiny, achievable chunks. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

Do: Hard work works. Working really hard is what successful people do. There is lots of time for everything else, so when to get set to do something important, dedicate that time to do it fully. Do it whole-a**ed, not half-a**ed. You can never get back time you’ve already spent.

Check: Don’t confuse movement with progress. Be honest with yourself about what’s not working and what is working. Listen to feedback.

Act: Be willing to change your plan as you learn and grow. Take risks and try things. Expect mistakes and use them as feedback to change.
